not much to blig about today. Not much to blog about either. Consider the rain or a flame, or noise or luggage or kickballs, dust or Sundays or consider the trees. Whatever just be thankful this week because life is short and sweet. I wanted to rant and rave about how life is not working for me now and how I am disillusioned and disenchanted with church, myself, everything. But it is not so bad when i stop and think about all the good things surrounding me that sometimes get overshadowed by the bad things. Good things....

join us in creating excellence

man this IBS diet thing is wicked tough. I do feel lots better in my tummy but I am kinda sluggish because of eating only soluble fiber. But the soy milk is not tasting so bad anymore. So not a whole lot is going on today. Im gonna go help out with the senior citizen's luncheon at church. Those people really love when we make food. We are serving a Thanksgiving-type meal.

My grandma has been working her tail off for like the past week preparing stuff and putting everything together. I wish people could know just how much effort she is putting into this, but I know she is not doing it to be noticed. I hope some day I can be like that.

I guess Im done for today. Happy week before thanksgiving!!

new game

I created a new hobby. I call it "Blog Spelunking" you might prefer "Blogunking" or "Splogging". If you have ever been spelunking you might get the concept. If you have never been spelunking it is where you go down in a cave and you search around until you cant go any further or until you get lost and have a rescue team come find you. Well anyways how you do it is you click on a blog link down on the left hand side where its says "blogs". Then you keep linking to random blogs via their other blog links and you keep going until you come to a blog that has no links. This could take days or i just did it for like 15 minutes and found the end of this one string. You can read the blogs or you can just race through. Try it its fun.

Today's Blog Spelunking Expedition takes us to the cat-a-blog

Okay im done....

I havent blogged in a couple of days. I just havent been able to get anything out. I have been trying to grow a beard but it doesnt look like a beard. It looks pretty funny because i have some places that refuse to grow hair. Oh well.

My wife skipped school and stayed home with me yesterday we had heaps of fun. I used to love to cut class in undergrad. (explains my towering grade point average) We just goofed around and watched movies and stuff.

I have started a modified diet because I have been having mad symptoms of IBS so I am trying to fix me diet (Arrgh! Like a pirate!). You know what pirates drink too?? No not rum... They drink lots of soy milk Ooh so silky ooooh so smooth and tastes nothing like anything good. But I am stickin to my diet so i wont be an irritable bowel head man. Okay Im tired of typing..

bend and not break

did you ever think how different the world would be without clocks or capitalism or cashew nuts? I wonder how different people would be without computers or chiken Mc Nuggets? I haven't gotten out today, i just have been in my room reading and watching stupid t.v commercials. I have been reading This Side of Paradise by Fitzgerald. He published this novel at 23. I think I was trying to get past English 102 for the second time at 23. Its funny about how you are expected to go to school and become something respectable and pursue the American dream and be success-full and avaricious.

I wish we had no clocks or capitalism or computers...I do like cashew nuts so we can keep them in my wanton dream. In reality I need this computer and capitalism so blogger.com will allow me to type this blog for "free" and we certainly need clocks because without them I wouldnt be able to tell when to go watch reruns of Seinfeld. That brings us back to the indispensable cashew nut. I tried but I am not cheered up today, so wont you hold me now... I will not bend...

emptied out until Im full

I have been so frustrated with my situation and not being able to find the right job and trying to get into school. I sit at home and wait for a word from school and from jobs. I don't like sitting at home and waiting. I really feel that God is teaching me about waiting and you can't learn about that in theory you must actually have to wait...

Waiting is a spiritual discipline that I have not yet mastered. Most people i know think waiting is stupid that I must go out and make my destiny, but I've done that and tried that. I have never found that to be the best way. For me the best way is being still and meditating on the side of life we cannot see. So I guess I am not so frustrated any more. Thanks for reading and going with me thru this trial. Im out...

better than Ezra

We went to the Shane and Shane concert last night and it was quite right! The band was clean and the harmonies were sick. I was thoroughly pleased with the concert. The opening act was a very pleasant surprise. I am usually really leery of independent artist concert opening acts but this guy was pretty good. The guys name was Mat Kearney from Oregon.

The style was unique and Mat jokingly called his style a "mix between Bob Dylan and Tupac". I actually thought he sounded like the guy from Coldplay but whatever, it was pretty uber tight. Anyways it might be kinda cheesie to some people but the songs really struck a chord with me becuase I really like hip-hop and acoustic guitar music so who woulda thunk to put two good things together?? Anyways my favorite song right now is the title track "Bullet" but they are all good.

Well today I gotta go to Chris and Candice's shower/bar-b-que. Im sure it will be heaps fun. The church is having one for Candace that my wife is at right now and they will get home in an hour or so, she looks really hot today. Im a lucky...scratch that....blessed to have a wonderful wife.

Pretty excited about going to the Shane and Shane concert tonite. Today is also Friday Freeday so it makes it all that more sweet. Since its Friday Freeday I thought Id give up some props to the old school by posting some sweet lyrics by Newcleus. "Jammonit" came out in 1984 back when I was learing how to do the headspin in 2nd grade P.E. It was great I remember Coach Salinas he was about 65 years old and he was the Elementary school P.E. teacher. I remember every Friday he would tell us to run a few laps hard and then we could breakdance for the remainder of class. "Jammonit" was a staple jam for us to break to...

Three words to the whack, step yourself back
Just gettin’ down, and you then you’re givin’ no slack
Like a Burger King with a sack of Big Macs
We’re throwin’ down with the radical sacks
On time, in your mind you see
You gotta boogie to your best ability
You gotta funk it up until it knocks you down
And when you’re funkin’ up, be sure to pass it around

Come on, let’s go to work
We got what’ll make your body jerk
Make you throw your hands up in the air
Shake your booty and scream, “Oh, yeah”
‘Cause we are the Jam On Crew
And jammin’ on it is how we do the do
We’ll funk you up until you boogie down
So come people check out the sound (echo --check out the sound--)

it goes so much better with the music but i can't seem to find it on the internet. if you can find it let me know!!!!!
